Education: Dr. Purtzer completed medical school at Oregon Health Science University, and did his neurological surgery residency at Loma Linda University.

He specializes in pain management and is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, and the American Academy of Pain Management.

He is in private practice at Intractable Pain Centers in Medford, OR.
